Form MSNBC: A video surfaced on YouTube Tuesday showing Shia LaBeouf in a slapping contest with a friend where the “Indiana Jones” actor hurls anti-gay slurs to encourage his friend to slap him.
A rep for the actor told E!’s Marc Malkin that he is “embarrassed” by the video, where LaBeouf is seen calling his friend a “f—-t” multiple times.
“The videotape that is currently being circulated is several years old and captures Shia playing a game among friends in which he uses a derogatory word toward a friend,” a rep for the actor tells Malkin.

looks like deep thought or language censorship was not a high priority for that particular video

looks like deep thinking or language censorship was not a high priority for this little episode… it’s surprising that this is getting blown up so much

some of us might not want to admit it, but a lot of us have used words we shouldn’t when joking around. maybe he deserves a break?
does anyone think it’s possible to use a word like faggot without necessarily having negative views about gay people? it’s an interesting question.

Sorry everyone, but it seems to me like the “F” word is the new “N” word. That means that it shouldn’t be used by anyone who is not gay in any manner whatsoever, unless you WANT to insult someone. I’m not gay, but I am black, so I feel like we should be fair about it, right?
