Lets face it, Rogers and fido are basically the same company. Roger has announced previously that they will be offering iPhone 3G in canada. 

Now, fido has also issued a press released stating they will start offer iPhone 3G starting July 11, 2008. Pricing will be CAD$199 for 8GB or CAD$299 for the 16GB version. Both will required a 3 year contract! No word on if they will offer the phone without contracts with a higher price. 

On the other hand, Rogers is accepting pre-orders for the iPhone!  Whatever model you want (8GB/16GB Black/16GB White).  A $50-100 deposit is required and you will get your phone within 1-5 days after the launch date.

No detail on Voice/Data plan has been officially released. But we assume it will start around the $70/month range.
