BroadwayWorld discusses GAYFEST NYC! The other day, April 14, 2008, GAYFEST NYC kicked off this year’s, and second annual, gay-themed and gay-written Off-Broadway Festival with a fundraising benefit for the Harvey Milk High School scholarship fund. The evening included a performance by Emmy Award-winning actor Leslie Jordan at the New World Stages. GAYFEST NYC, is the country’s premier festival of new gay-themed plays, and lasts 5 full weeks, from May 14 - June 15, 2008 at the TBG Arts Center, 312 West 36th Street, New York City. Tori is no stranger to the gay world… Tori is a huge advocate of gay rights, and has even become an ordained minister to marry a same sex couple. Don’t forget her  role in 1999’s Trick, that fantastic indy-gay love story about a hot stripper and a Broadway musical writer attempting to have a ‘one-night-stand’.
