Guyanese authorities have banned Jamaican reggae singer, Bounty Killer, from entering the country ever again. The artist is known for anti- gay lyrics. Gunfire erupted at a recent April 19 concert concert.
Clement Rohee, Interior Minister for Guyana, announced the ban Monday, citing that Bounty Killer’s lyrics promote violence and celebrate criminal behavior. He also banned the Jamaican singer Movado.
Bounty Killer concerts have been cancelled in other countries around the world as a result of the hate spewed through them.
