The yearbook at a high school in Clovis, New Mexico, is under fire from some local religious groups and others because photographs of two lesbian couples were published in a segment on relationships. The segment also included photographs of nine straight couples. Staff member Jessie Hardison and editor in chief and student Maggie Chavez said they included gay couples in Clovis High’s yearbook to illustrate the school’s diversity. Good on ya!

O yea, and in my 8th grade year book (we were 13), there’s a picture of a student getting a pack of smokes out of his backpack. No one cared about that.
And why do adults forget what it’s like to be a child, and not care so much about other peoples personal lives, and just enjoy the time you have?

David, I couldn’t agree more. Parents should be concerned about things like smoking, risky sex, and their kids going to school with knifes, not sweet and innocent love.
