It’s over between Reichen Lehmkuhl and Ryan Barry according to Reichen’s own myspace page where he declares himself single. Apparently he’s a bit peaved with Ryan Barry. He offered these words of wisdom:

Never believe them when they say they’re only going to sleep with you, especially when there is a social climbing opportunity in front of them.Never underestimate their need for celebrity, money, and fame.

While E!Online is horribly spreading rumors by questioning whether T.R. Knight is planning on marrying his boyfriend of less than six months Mark Cornelson, we can definitely say that T.R. Knight is hosting the Matthew Shepard Foundation’s June 4th group commitment ceremony for same-sex couples in West Hollywood.
Approximately 50 couples will take part in the ceremony presided by West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang and witnessed by Shepard’s mom, Judy to mark the start of National Gay Pride Month. Couples will also be wearing Erase Hate pendants, from Love and Pride jewelry line designer Udi Behr.
The Matthew Shepard Foundation has a lot of meaning for Knight and Cornelsen. The two first met when Knight hosted the organization’s Los Angeles awards show last October.

Ellen DeGeneres’ mother, Betty, spoke at Saint Mary’s College in Central California as part of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Ally (LGBTQIA) Awareness Week.
Journalist Caitlin Graveson reported, “DeGeneres recounted the moment when Ellen revealed to her that she was gay. She said the two of them had been walking along the beach in Mississippi and Ellen had stopped walking, began crying and said, “Mom, I’m gay.” The two thoughts that passed through her head at that moment were the fear of the bigotry her daughter would have to face and also, “Oh! The engagement picture won’t be in the paper.” However, DeGeneres said, “Ellen has more than made up for the picture.”
“She discussed the negative images surrounding homosexuals and said the focus for them is on “sexual” in comparison to the focus on “hetero” for heterosexuals. DeGeneres also touched on the struggles that come from the illegality of same-sex civil marriage.
James Franco, who has recently finished filming for Gus Van Sant’s Milk, has released a ‘lesson’ on how to cry for the camera. Together with his brother Dave, they explore childhood trauma to bring up tears.
Franco is to play Scott Smith, lover and campaign manager to Harvey Milk (played by Sean Penn), in the upcoming Milk film set for a 2008 release by Focus Features.

A day after Miley Cyrus publicly apologized for her Vanity Fair shots, well known photographer Annie Leibovitz is weighing in on her controversial Vanity Fair photograph of singer.
“I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted,” says Leibovitz in a statement issued Monday. “Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”

I never imagined I’d be discussing Miley Cyrus. I must admit I only recently realized that Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana were the same person after hearing about someone wanting to hijack an airplane and fly it into a Hannah Montana concert. But I digress. I do feel the need to weigh in on this “controversy”.
Hannah Montana is product of Disney. Miley Cyrus is 15 going 16. People have a problem differentiated these two facts. So when Hannah Montana exhibits sexuality, people feel like their brand loyalty has been compromised. When Miley Cyrus exhibits her sexuality a nation’s anxiety about teenage sexuality is exposed.
This brings back memories of Britney Spears’ vow of virginity because she (or her creators) knew it would ruin her image. Next thing you know she’s marrying every man she has sex with, exposing her crotch, shaving her head, being put in a mental institution, and having her children taken away from her. I’m not suggesting one equals the other, but when people don’t let someone grow up, they don’t.
Jim Carrey and Rodrigo Santoro (not Santorum) on the set as gay men in the upcoming comedy / drama, I Love You Phillip Morris. Carey plays Steven Russell, a married con man who gets sentenced to 3 years in the Texas prison system and falls in love with his cellmate, the titular “Phillip Morris.” Ewan McGregor plays Morris. The script is based on a true story, written by Houston Chronicle crime reporter Steve McVicker.
“Jim’s character is a con artist and an escape artist, who escapes from prison to be with me,” Ewan said. “It’s an incredible story.”
I hope this is not another Boat Trip or I Now Pronounce you Chuck & Larry, but the image above doesn’t give me much hope.
Grey’s Anatomy actor T.R. Knight, 35, and his boyfriend, 19-year-old college student Mark Cornelsen, were spotted walking their dog, hand-in-hand. The couple, who have been dating several months, was photographed while walking hand-in-hand near Knight’s Los Feliz, California, home this weekend. Such a public display of affection is definitely a great inspiration for other gay couples.

Actor William Baldwin, in a recent interview with Out.com, had to say this, about brother Stephen’s right-wing, evangelical views on homosexuality:
“I asked him, ‘Do you think a gay couple should be married? And if not, do you think they deserve access to the same rights on a federal level and state level that you do?’
“(He responds) ‘Because God said and the Bible says that marriage is an institution that exists solely between a man and a woman, blah, blah, blah’, and he falls behind that crap.
“And I said, ‘Well if you had a choice - if you and your wife were to die and your kids were still young, and you had a choice between your children being in foster care and potentially being physically and emotionally and sexually abused, as opposed to being adopted by a loving, healthy, caring lesbian or gay couple, what would you rather have?’
“He couldn’t really answer, and I said, ‘Thank God Dad isn’t here on this earth right now, because he would be so devastated and so horrified.’”
Stephen is well known as a Republican, homophobe, and evangelical. In Dirty Sexy Money, WIlliam plays Patrick Darling, a married politico with a penchant for transsexuals.
