Rumors about Lindsay Lohan’s relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson have been swirling around for some time (see photos here). The Cleveland Leader reports that Lohan was reportedly offered $1 million to do OK! Magazine’s cover, and reveal all in a “coming out” story in which she would discuss her relationship with openly gay Sam Ronson.
According to a source for the New York Post, “Lindsay really wants this to happen and she needs the money.” However, Lohan’s rep has denied the deal, stating, “They sent offers and we passed.” OK! Magazine said, “We don’t comment on future editorial.”
This really makes us laugh. Last week, we had Lindsay snuggling up to Samantha Ronson, and on Tuesday, Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan, reportedly confirmed it. Well, that WASN’T TRUE!!!
Today, we learned that Michael Lohan told Access Hollywood, “I never said anything like that about Lindsay or a relationship with Samantha. I never looked at the pictures! I never looked at any derogatory pictures that were purportedly posted on the Internet, so how could I comment?
“It (the quote) was applied towards Lindsay. It was twisted and misrepresented. That’s Lindsay’s business. Lindsay can make her own life choices, that’s between her and God.”
Entertainment Wise reports that Michael Lohan, father of Lindsay, insists that the close relationship his daughter Lindsay has with Samantha Ronson “is evident to anyone with half a brain.”
Last week, we posted photos of the two getting close on P Diddy’s Cannes boat ride, prompting rumors of a romance and even an engagement.
Speaking to Us magazine, Lindsay’s Born Again dad says his 21-year old “is a big girl, and she can make her own life choices. Then it is between her and God.”
“Just like the [topless] Marilyn Monroe spread, Linds is my daughter and there are just some things a father doesn’t want to see or hear, regardless of whether they are true or false.”
Lindsay’s mother Dina has denied claims that her daughter is a lesbian.
Daily Mail reports that Lindsay Lohan and her ‘girlfriend’ Samantha Ronson were caught kissing in Canneslast night. The two - who have maintained that they are just friends amid rumours that they are a couple - gave into their inhibitions as they cavorted on the top deck of P Diddy’s party yacht.

But it was strange to see that Lindsay - who isn’t seeing anyone at the moment - had a ring on her engagement finger. Their open display of affection could confirm rumours that started last year about their relationship. It was reported that Samantha, 30 kept in contact Lindsay when she spent a stint in rehab last year.
A con artist has cashed in on Ellen DeGeneres’ recent announcement that she intends to wed her long time girlfriend Portia De Rossi by setting up a hoax gift registry at Crate + Barrel, according to Contact Music.
When DeGeneres announced her engagement on last Friday’s show, the day after California’s Supreme Court declared the ban on same sex marriage unconstitutional, the comic joked that the couple’s gift list would be with Crate + Barrel.
According to Ellen, ”I was joking when I released a statement saying we registered at Crate + Barrel. Some scam artist tried to take advantage of that and register and said the gifts are going to be sent to me and some people started already buying gifts… and sending (them to) this person.”
DeGeneres insists she and De Rossi do not want wedding gifts.
After over two decades together, George Takei is planning to marry his partner.
George Takei wrote on his website, ”Our California dream is reality. Brad Altman and I can now marry. We are overjoyed! At long last, the barrier to full marriage rights for same-sex couples has been torn down. We are equal with all citizens of our state!

On Thursday, we reported that Ellen DeGeneres was to announce on Friday’s show that she will marry Portia de Rossi. Well, she did, and here’s the clip of the show:
The Associated Press reports that Ellen DeGeneres is putting the California Supreme Court ruling in favor of gay marriage into action — she and Portia de Rossi plan to wed. DeGeneres made the announcement during a taping of her talk show on Thursday, which is set to appear on Friday.
A person close to the production, who was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly, spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity. Citing the court’s ruling, DeGeneres said she and girlfriend de Rossi (”Ally McBeal,” “Nip/Tuck”) would be getting married.
De Rossi, 35, who was in the studio, and DeGeneres, 50, were applauded by audience members, the person close to the production said.
Calls and e-mails late Thursday to DeGeneres’ publicist were not immediately returned.
DeGeneres has boldly used TV before to make a stand for gay rights. In 1997, she brought her character on the ABC sitcom “Ellen” out of the closet, making the show the first on prime-time network TV to have an openly gay lead. The move drew cheers from gay civil rights organizations but was condemned by some religious groups.
‘Sex and the City’ star Cynthia Nixon who has been dating lesbian activist Christine Marinoni since 2004, says she wants to get married. Why? Because gay weddings are ‘rebellious’.
Last month, rumors surfaced that the pair is to marry later this year in a low key ceremony.
But Nixon, 42, admits she’s never been keen on marriage in the past - although she would consider wedding Marioni because it would be an act of rebellion.
She says: “It (marriage) is something my girlfriend is interested in and it was not something my boyfriend (Danny Mozer, with who she spilt after 15 years together) ever was. I think that to get married to her would be a little act of rebellion. It’s like if you’ve never had the vote and then you get it you’re going to run out there and vote.
“I always avoided marriage in the past and was very wary of it. I felt like it was potentially a trap. People sometimes want the party, the gifts, and the public celebration of this big love - they’re excited about that rather than the life commitment. So I always stayed clear of it.”
While totally unsubstantiated rumors float around that Heroes young star Hayden Panettiere is a lesbian, she was quite willing to participate in the talk.
She says: “That’s fine with me. If I’m going to be linked with someone, I could do an affair with Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba or Charlize Theron.
“And Kate Beckinsale is gorgeous. There are so many beautiful girls.”
